always reminds me of my best friend, Kristin. She was always so peeved that this song was not included on the Empire Records Soundtrack, considering this is the song that is playing at the very end, and as the credits role (before Til I Hear It From You comes in of course). The lyrics remind me of her also. Many mornings I spent using the internet at the university library, listening to a mix cd she made me with this, Magnapop, Buffalo Tom, Lemonheads, Led Zeppelin, Juliana Hatfield, Sponge, Soul Asylum… this was like, 2003 btw.
